Great Club showing at BRAC Lap of the Lake events.

Cameron Snowden turned back the clock to record nearly a PB to finish a fine 3rd placing in the Steve Moneghetti Lap of the Lake.  Snowden also took out the 40+ age group by an incredible 2 minutes. Ben Ludbrook turned in another tremendous run to finish 5th whilst 13yo Ben Mornane narrowly missed a top 10 placing with a PB 21.09 run.  Becaiuse of the fine runs of juniors Ludbrook, Mornane and Jack Diamond, the club was able to take out the Divison 1 Mens division. After holding the Roseanne Brisbane Shield for 7 years Courtney Scott made a brave attempt to hold on to the title but still finished in a brave 3rd placing. Gracie Lee Egner was the surprise packet, recording a fine 24min 37sec for her first attempt at the Lap of the Lake. Narrowly beaten by just 1 point in Division 1, the girls took out Divisions 2 & 3. The U12 2km was an impressive 1,2,3 result for the Eureka juniors with Alex Stevens, Nash McGrath and Charlie King taking out the winning trifecta. The Keith Kirk Club Handicap was taken out by Sally Warren with Ben Mornane 2nd and Cam Snowden 3rd.
